Robinson, R., 1987 - 2000, Devon Post-Reconnaissance Fieldwork Project (Un-published). SDV342165.

Site occupies slight hollow in ridge top, very gentle east slope. Southeast side coincides with slight scarp. The field bank immediately west reflects the slope of the barrow very faintly. Other details: Photograph DPRFP/6 1.2.4.

Circular dark mark diameter 20-25 meters, with concentric pale annular mark just inside edge. Recorded as a crop mark in 1989.

Site recorded as almost a complete ring ditch in 1992. The darkness of the 'splodge' cropmark both within and beyond the ring ditch suggests the faint survival of the mound of a round barrow, despite the fact that this could not be recognised in field inspection.

Rapid examination of aerial photographs suggests the presence of one of 4 probable Prehistoric or Roman round barrow sites, visible as ring ditch cropmark. Circa 24 meters diameter, with possible internal features.
