Prehistoric boundary noted on either side of ring ditch PRN 43218 during excavation. A shallow, curving linear feature with a similar feature joining the southern arm. Possibly contemporary with ringditch as it respects its position, or the barrow mound was still upstanding when the feature was cut. Possibly held a timber fence. Fill samples contained wheat grains. A pit to the east of this feature may be contemporary and contained burnt material.
