Full description

Tyers, G. A., 1992, Field Walk Ahead Of Proposed A30 Trunk Road (Worksheet). SDV338803.

Fieldwalking in March 1992 in field centred on above NGR (given as SY105805 on worksheet) produced: 14 tile fragments of which 9 were dated by Exeter Museum Archaeological Field Unit to 18th-19th century and 5 indeterminate, possibly Roman. 8 pottery sherds of which 5 were 17th-18th century Somerset ware and 3 of 18th-19th century date.
