"Stone" is shown on the Ordnance Survey 6 inch provisional 1938 map.

HERALD EXPRESS, 1986, Boundary Stones to be Restored (Article in Serial). SDV325925.

Historic boundary stones round Totnes are to be restored by Devon County Council.
Totnes town councillor heard that the recent beating of the bounds was supported by 200 people but some problems were encountered finding some of the boundary stones. Some protection to be put around the stones on the highways.

Boundary stone marking the 1832 extended borough boundary. To find this stone proceed along Wills Road and over the low wall at the end. The bound stone stands to the left of an electricity pylon. The grid reference is SX80656099. It is a round-headed granite block incised B B on the face.
