Summary

The northern cairn, probably that described by the Ordnance Survey (1950) and Grinsell (1978), measures 4.5m in diameter and stands a maximum of 0.55m high. It possesses steep sides with some protruding stone and a very slightly hollowed centre. There are no obvious signs of disturbance.

(18/08/1950) A heather covered tumulus in good condition. Diameter 5.5m, 0.6m high.

(30/07/1976) Cairn, with slight hollow centre. Diameter 5m, height 0.4m.

(14/08/1991) Centred SX 64408611. Two well-preserved cairns and a further probable cairn lie in an area of low heather and long tufty grass on the gentle N-facing slope of Langridge.
SX 64408612. The N cairn, probably that described by Ordnance Survey (1950) and Grinsell (1978), measures 4.5m in diameter and stands a maximum of 0.55m high. It possesses steep sides with some protruding stone and a very slightly hollowed centre. There are no obvious signs of disturbance.

(09/04/1998) Round cairn forming part of cemetery on Long Ridge. At SX 64408612. Diameter measures 4.6m, height 0.7m. Central pit 1m by 1m by 0.1m deep. Four stones defining the edge may represent a kerb.
