Although a previous source has indicated that the 1840 Tithe Map shows houses and gardens within plot 519, these are not visible on the digital Tithe Mosaic of approximately 1838-1848. The Salcombe Regis Tithe Apportionment records plot 519 as an arable field named 'Little Plain.' No houses are depicted within this plot on either the First or Second Edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey maps.
