Full description
Haswell, B. W., 1975, Interim Report on Sites Located and Surveyed by Major B.W. Haswell on Tors Top, Westward Ho! (Un-published). SDV340139.
Bowl barrow (diam 71m, height 15m); a prominent feature in the whole area and has always been assumed to be a hill. It has two revetments and a kist (7.6m long, 6.4m wide). In the south-east corner is something which gave a very strong reaction to the dowsing rod of Major Haswell, which he says he has never encountered before, in any other barrow. No. 4 on plan.
