Haswell, B. W., 1975, Interim Report on Sites Located and Surveyed by Major B.W. Haswell on Tors Top, Westward Ho! (Un-published). SDV340139.

Long barrow 117.5m by 17.2m. There are two large mounds to the south of this site which look like barrows. Major Haswell believes these to be ordinary earth mounds, because he receives no reaction from them when dowsing, and he says that they have no doubt been the remains of the barrow, "harrowed" (no.18 on plan) out over a long period of time. In fact a tractor road lies over the large barrow (no.4) and along the length of this site to a gate in the next field, west. A very interesting feature is the end of the central rectangle forming one of three such, and 117.5m long by 6m wide, has a concave end 2.8m in depth. The other two adjacent rectangles are straight ended. The barrow forms part of a saddle feature.
