Derelict shed to rear of 68 High Street in Barnstaple. Used as a stable at some time this century. Seems to have once been part of Number 68. Much of the walling is cob, which produced a few sherds of late 17th century pot. Internal divisions of cob and timber. Roof struts rest on north side on a wall which continues into Number 68. Some roof timbers show signs of re-use, exhibiting signs of good carpentry. Roof hung with pantiles. The building is too disturbed to phase.
