Full description
Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.
Milestone (M.S) marked as 14 miles to Plymouth and 8 miles to Totnes.
Ordnance Survey, 1906, 125NE (Cartographic). SDV160600.
'Milestone' indicated on OS 6" (1906) but not on OS 6" (1969).

Jenkinson, T., 2018, Totnes to Plymouth (B3210/A3121/A379) (Report - Survey). SDV324109.
Site visits 14th January 2004, October 2008 and 22nd April 2018. Granite milestone n the south side of the road at the junction of the A3121 and the turn to Ugborough. Erected by the Totnes Turnpike Trust circa 1765. The stone is inscribed '14/To/Plymo/?/?/?'. Originally recorded as a fallen stone in poor condition awaiting action by Parish Council. Appears (2008) to have been removed from site and still not on site in April 2018.
