Full description
Dines, H. G., 1956, The Metalliferous Mining Region of South West England, 763 (Monograph). SDV62852.
Dixon, D., 1983, Untitled Source (Monograph). SDV322502.
Shaft, Upcott Mine. Dines suggests a second shaft 110 yds NE of PRN 46830. Local tradition that this shaft was infilled. This must have taken place as soon as the mine was abandoned in 1886, since the 1887 OS plan shows only one shaft.
