Sheldon parish boundry extended further W into present Kentisbeare on Tithe Map and shows more buildings in this area than on later OS maps.


Ordnance Survey, 1880-1899, First Edition Ordnance 25 inch map (Cartographic). SDV336179.

Boundary extended towards Hill Gate on OS 6" (1890) map in same manner as Tithe Map.
