Full description
Ordnance Survey, 1904 - 1906, Second Edition Ordnance Survey 25 inch Map (Cartographic). SDV325644.
'Old quarry' indicated on 1904-1906 historic maps but not on 1954 edition.

The quarry lay to the south of the road but comparing the historic and modern maps in this area indicate the route of the modern road here has been moved slightly to the south-west, overlying the site of the quarry, of which no remains can be seen.
