(07/06/1950) Bronze Age enclosure and hut circles. A single enclosure of the usual Dartmoor type, which contains three hut circles. The walling consists of large turf-covered stones reaching an average height of 0.7 meters.
Hut circle A. Double walled type, measuring 7.0 meters in internal diameter. Height of walling 0.5 meters. There is a well defined entrance to the south-east.
Hut circle B. Probably of double walled type. Diameter measures 9.0 meters. Walling of large turf-covered stones reaching a height of 0.5 meters. No obvious entrance.
Hut circle C. Diameter approximately 6.0 meters. Heavily overgrown with heather. Accurate measurements impossible. Other details: No plan.
(10/09/1978) An enclosed settlement situated on a slight south slope at 370m. OD The enclosure, 100.0m. by 70.0m. has walling 3.0m. wide and up to 0.7m. high, mostly of piled stones with occasional orthostats. The entrance, on the west side, is a simple gap 1.5m. wide.
There are three Type 2 hut circles, (see type site SX 56 SE 19) within the enclosure; two having internal diameters of 6.0m. with wall 0.7m. thick and 0.5m. high, and entrances on the south east. The third hut is much overgrown, with an internal diameter of 4.0m.
No entrance is visible in this hut.
No associated field system is visible in the vicinity.

Ovoid enclosure with three hut circles visible. The enclosure has been cut by a leat. Area covered is 0.6 hectares.

This enclosure lies on a south-west facing slope above the River Plym, south of Lower Hartor Tor. It is sub-oval in shape and measures approximately 110ms by 84.0m and is defined by a bank of large stones and earth up to 2.0m in width and 1.0m in height. There is a possible entrance to the north-east. There are three huts within the enclosure, ranging from 8.0m to 10.0m in diameter, with walls 2.0m in thickness and up to 0.5m in height, faced on the inner side. Entrances in the walls face south or east. A cairn lies outside the enclosure to the southwest.

Hut circle settlement to the south-west of Lower Hartor Tor and to the north of the junction of the River Plym and the Langcombe Brook . It consists of an oval enclosure with four internal hut circles and a cairn to the south-west.

(10/07/1999) A fine prehistoric enclosure containing three possibly four hut circles:
SX60216733. 5.6m in internal diameter with tumbled walling approximately 2.3m high and up to 0.7m high of boulders and stones with some inner and outer facing slabs. An entrance with one in situ orthostat lies in the SW side.
SX60236734. 7.2m in internal diameter with walling on average 2.4m wide and 0.6m high composed of inner and outer facing slabs with some stones and boulders. The position of the entrance is not clear but it may be in the SW side.
SX60246735. A possible hut approximately 4.0m in overall diameter with walling of stones up to 0.3m high but no trace of the entrance.
SX60246735. 4.5m in internal diameter with walling approximately 2.0m wide and on average 0.6m high of stones boulders and some upright facing slabs. The position of the entrance is not clear.
