Summary
Hut circle recorded by Gerrard (1993), but not by the Ordnance Survey (1950) or Butler (1994). Terraced into the hillslope and of the simple plan type and survives as a 4.0 metre diameter ring of stones protruding through the turf and standing up to 0.4 metres high. This hut is not shown on modern mapping and not visible on aerial photographs; requires confirmation on the ground.

Full description
Gerrard, S., 1990-2002, Monument Protection Programme. Archaeological Item Dataset., MPP133219 (Report - Survey). SDV277946.
SX58436899 (Hut 19 on plan) Site visited on 4th May 1993. Hut circle situated within an enclosure. Terraced into the hillslope and of the simple plan type and survives as a 4.0 metre diameter ring of stones protruding through the turf and standing up to 0.4 metres high.

One of fourteen hut circles ranging in size from 2.5 metres to 7.1 metres.

Visited 07/2019. SX 58433 68999 A not easily discernible hut circle appears centered on 58433 68999, grass and bracken covering. The east side seems partially buried under a tinners’ spoil heap. Few, if any, stones protrude through the turf and the circle has the appearance more of an earth bank rather than stone walls. Photo taken
