Reave is visible on the aerial photograph predating the construction of the Reservoir.

Reave associated with the enclosed settlement on Dean Moor. A bank and ditch, facing north-west, of type known as a reave starts from the north-west corner of the prehistoric pound and continues downhill south-west to the Avon.
