Boundary stone of the Bude Canal. Erected 1839, bearing inscription 'BC 1839'. The 1884 Ordnance Survey map shows a number of these near Thorne Farm. Fewer stones are marked on the 1963 6 inch Ordnance Survey map. Some stones have recently been relocated to the vicinity of the farmhouse. Other details: fig 1.
