Summary

Vis=26/4/1995 (horner) site of forerunner of southtown house. Single dwelling or pair of cottages that burnt down in the late 18th or early 19th century. The remains were occupied by caretaker and then the stonemason for the new house. Traces of brick and stone walling may still be seen beyond a small gateway (horner).
