At SX 63107272 on the N side of a gateway between Sherberton and Tor Royal farms lies a 5-slot gatepost as described by Hemery (1983). Standing 1.5m high it is of Worth's type A (1967) and may as suggested have been moved to this position or, less likely, has been turned in situ.

The track from Whiteworks to Sherberton enters Swincombe Newtake at a gateway having one post with five slots; as these face the direction of the track rather than the opposite post, which bears no slots, it has obviously been transplanted from elsewhere.
