Summary
A shallow pit was recorded during a watching brief on a pipeline construction. The pit measured 1.04 metres by 1.7 metres by 0.25 metres deep. It contained clay loam and charcoal in equal quantities, in addition to flint fragments. It was thought that the fill had been deposited into the pit, rather than burnt in situ.

A shallow pit was recorded during a watching brief on a pipeline construction. The pit measured 1.04 metres by 1.7 metres by 0.25 metres deep.
