The ship repair yard is visible as a range of structures.

A former ship repair yard of Second World War date is visible as a range of structures on aerial photographs of 1943 onwards within Coronation Park, Dartmouth. The repair yard occupies an area of approximately 2 hectares of recreation ground. The site comprises a range of nissen huts, typically either 13m long or 32m long, as well as three pitched-roofed hangers, measuring approximately 22m long, and a range of smaller huts and temporary structures. The repair yard is first visible on aerial photographs of 1943 and was used to repair landing craft during preparations for the Normandy landings. The site remains visible as a range of partly demolished structures on aerial photographs of 1947 and has been completely cleared by 1950.
