Two former slipways of Second World War date are visible as structures on aerial photographs of 1943 onwards, to the east of Coronation Park. The two adjacent concrete slipways each measure approximately 30m wide and are separated by a central concrete rail. A jetty, complete with three possible floating pontoons, extends outwards from the concrete rail to a length of approximately 60m.
