Full description

Building 143. Flight office. Construction: Nissen Buildings Ltd - 24 feet span Nissen Hut - built of arch-shaped steel ribs (T-shaped in cross-section) positioned at six feet centres. Clad internally with plasterboard. Window cheeks fitted both sides, end walls of temporary brick construction. Function: building with a central corridor with offices for three flight clerks, three flight officers and three flight store rooms. Building in excellent condition.
