Full description

Gerrard, S., 1990-2002, Monument Protection Programme. Archaeological Item Dataset., MPP 140780. (Report - Survey). SDV277946.

Visited on 14th June 1996. Three unenclosed hut circles forming part of a discrete concentration of structures which together with other nucleations form a large settlement complex. The buildings each survive as a stone and earth bank surrounding a circular internal area. All are of the simple plan type and one has a visible doorway.
Hut a [sx62729077]. A 1.6m wide and 0.7m high single and double orthostat wall surrounds a 4m diam internal area. A s facing gap may represent a doorway.
Hut b [sx62689074]. A 1.2m wide and 0.4m high single orthostat + earthwork wall surrounds a 3.7m diam internal area.
Hut c [sx62709073]. A 1.4m wide and 0.7m high single orthostat wall surrounds a 3.4m diam internal area (mpp).
