A terraced area circa 36m by 16m in size is visible on digital images visualised from photogrammetrically derived elevation data captured in 2016 as an earthwork in the north-east corner of a field east of a track south from Thornton Cottages, Kenn. The platform corresponds with a plot depicted on the parish Tithe Map and listed in the apportionments as a garden (plot 279). This plot is not shown on the Ordnance Survey 25inch First Edition map and was therefore cleared between the 1840s and 1880s.
