Full description

Flint flake; surface find immediately south of enclosure SY09SE/126, 5cm by 3cm.
Exeter Archaeology, 2003, East Devon Heathlands Archaeological Survey, 65, Part 2: Gazetteer, Site No. 244 (Report - Survey). SDV101648.
Sub-rectangular single-ditched enclosure circa 40 metres by 30 metres, and adjacent linear marks, recorded from the air as a cropmark in 1995. The linear marks may represent field drains. The enclosure lies less than 100 metres outside the eastern boundary of the survey area.; the linear features are much closer to the boundary. A flint flake was found immediately to the south of the enclosure at grid reference SY 0702 9185. The site was not visited during the field survey.
