Hut circle at SX65808589 Diameter 7.5 metres, height 0.7 metres. Wall 1.5 metres wide. Internal area 44.15 metres. Doorway faces 65 degrees, is 0.7 metres wide and is lined both sides by two edge set stones. A 4.0 metre long, 1.3 metre wide and 0.2 metre high internal rubble bank leading north east from the western wall of the hut may represent a partition. This building is butted by adjacent field walls.

Hut cirlce in area 'A' of 7.7 metres diameter at the 'Shovel Down central enclosures'. It is the best preserved of the four huts and lies closest to the summit of the Down, apparently built before the field walls were constructed as these curve in to meet it. The entrance into this field is still preserved, a pair of slabs set sideways across the downhill wall.
