Summary

Site of the Second World War Nestlés Munition Factory. Part of the factory building survives, the original pre-war building, but the wartime extensions are gone. Two hundred and fourteen women were employed here in 1943 making shell cases and aeroplane components. The factory was moved from Holloway in North London to the garage in Branscombe Square.
