Child, P., 1999, Countryside Stewardship Application: Galford Farm, Lewtrenchard (Correspondence). SDV366556.

The Listed Grade II barn forms an attractive group with the farmhouse. It is later than the farmhouse, dating to the mid 19th century. It is well built of local rubble under a tarred corrugated iron roof lined with asbestos sheets. The roof trusses are modern. It is divided into two sections by a full height stone wall with a slit window at the apex. The lower section of the building is a traditional threshing barn with opposed doorways. The upper section has been altered but originally had a wide low opening and may have been a root store. The building once had a roundhouse attached but this is no longer extant. Attached to the north gable end is a single storey open-fronted cart shed which retains its original slated roof.
