Full description
Cotton, S., 1994, Wrought Iron Seat (Worksheet). SDV348503.
Site visit on 21st March 1994. Wrought iron seat. Simple scroll arms at each end and iron straps as lengthways slats. Three W-shaped legs and two strap spacers between, all joined with rivets. Inverted shield at centre of back in cast iron with irregular raised letters "1910 This seat was given by the Trustees of South Molton Municipal Charities out of funds derived from Hugh Squier's Charity". Situated at the junction of Factory Row and East Street.
