The tithe maps for Sampford Peverell & Burlescombe show Sampford Siding which later became known as Sampford Halt & then Sampford Station. The station was closed in the early 1950s. In October 1964 passenger traffic to Tiverton from the main line at Tiverton Junction ceased & on 12th may 1986 the site at Sampford Station reopened as Tiverton parkway. Other details: Site 9.
