Mill Stream marked. The leat was taken off the River Sid at a weir some 600m upstream of the mill. An Aqueduct and a Sluice a marked along its course, the middle section of which is rather meandering. The tailrace re-enters the river about 100m below the mill.

A linear anomaly representing about a 10m stretch of the possible course of a former mill stream was recorded during a geophysical survey carried out on the site of the proposed sewage treament works.
