Brothers. Collier stranded and wrecked on exmouth bar, 1812. Departure: cardiff, master: coates. '. Drove on shore. And is since gone to pieces' (nmr).

The Brothers. Collier wrecked in 1812. It was en-route from Cardiff to an unrecorded destination. The vessel was driven to shore, and the DHER notes that the wreck has since gone to pieces. Larn describes the wreck as having wrecked on Exmouth Bar (based on Lloyds List - Larn and Larn 1997) or at Orcombe
Point (Larn 1974: 119) at the same location that the Moon would wreck five years later.
