A small settlement lies of the edge of a huge tinner's excavation just uphill from the Middleworth to Deancombe track. A curved bank, now merely a step in the hillside, encloses a pair of hut circles against the dry stream bed. They measure 7.5 metres and 9.0 metres in diameter. One is partly cut through and the second has an annexe alongside.
