Mill leat shown running from north-east, south-west towards Great Gornhay.

This may be the mill referred to in documents of 1676 and 1705. A sale notice of 1869 refers to 'a good farm-house with barn and water-power…'. The ruins of the mill are visible, and a 19th century waterwheel axle survives buried in the wheelpit. The waterwheel was overshot or backshot, fed by high-level leat, now overgrown or silted-up or ploughed in.
