Full description

Bodman, M., 1998, Water-Powered Sites in Devon, 14, 53 (Report - non-specific). SDV305931.

'Town Mill' on the River Exe.

Higbee, L. + Collings, A. G., 2000, Archaeological Recording at John Heathcoat and Co., Leat Street, Tiverton, Devon (Report - Watching Brief). SDV336285.

The map accompanying Dunsford's 1790 'Hisorical Memoirs of Tiverton' suggests that there were then four mills along the section of the leat adjoing Leat Street, the lowest of which was presumably the town mill (corn), while the others were presumably fulling (cloth) mills.
