Summary
During observations on the southern part of the route for a temporary haul road between widworhty park quarry + sutton barton landfill site two parallel ditches were excavated. One was 0.5m wide x 0.5m deep cut by a broader ditch 1m wide x 0.6m deep interpreted as the former hedgebank + cart track which provided access to sutton quarries (dyer).
