The boundary walls at the rear of 'Heards Garage' in Queen Street are all recorded on the Ordnance Survey map of 1885. They are mostly of stone rubble construction with some brick. Structural details can be seen in the southern boundary wall. These relate to earlier buildings which have been removed. One of the walls has been breached to extend the car storage and parking area. The western boundary wall (MDV63400) contains evidence for earlier structures, particularly at the northern end. This wall also incorporates some early (18th century?) brickwork in its upper levels.
