A shrunken settlement comprising a farmstead and associated orchards and infield are depicted on the Tithe Map for Fremington and the Ordnance Survey 25 inch First Edition map. Earthwork banks and hollows visible on Lidar-derived images might represent additional evidence of a previously more extensive settlement.
