Exeter Archaeology, 2002, An Archaeological Assessment of a Proposed Development at Monkerton, Pinhoe, Exeter, 4,6 (Report - Assessment). SDV344512.

'Hollow Lane' from SX95569343 to SX96249346 is continuous with 'Blackhorse Lane' to the west & part of its length forms the Parish Boundary between Pinhoe & Heavitree. It may represent a Roman route into Exeter alongside the Honiton Road route to the south.
