Full description
Exeter Archaeology, 2000, Archaeological Assessment of a Proposed New Settlement Site, Brixton, South Hams, 5,12 (Report - Assessment). SDV324147.
Two barns are shown on the 1839 Brixton Tithe Map to the southwest of 'Higher Hareston'. The site was listed as 'Apple Orchard' in the 1840 Tithe Map Apportionment with no structures mentioned and none were present by 1869.
