Exeter Archaeology, 2000, Archaeological Assessment of a Proposed Development Area at Larkbear Near Barnstaple (Report - Assessment). SDV79105.

Site of a house shown on the 1840 Tawstock Tithe Map and on the Ordnance Survey (1887) map. The site appears to have been absorbed into the enlarged garden of its neighbour. Both houses appear to have been tied cottages of 'Roundswell Farm' opposite. An earthen mound was observed at this location during fieldwork.
