Site of various buildings on proposed site for housing development in an area of probable burgage plots. The extreme south-east of the site has been occupied bty various buildings, including a terrace of what appear to have been artisan's dwellings, comprising numbers 46 to 55 Cooks Cross. These survived into the post-war period.
