Full description
Gerrard, S., 1990-2002, Monument Protection Programme. Archaeological Item Dataset., MPP 157215 (Report - Survey). SDV277946.
Site visited on 9th May 2002. Quarry 1310 metres south-west of Eylesbarrow. A small quarry up to 3 metres deep. Rushes in the base with bracken and grass on the slopes. Material for building the nearby mills and walls was probably quarried here.
