Full description
Gerrard, S., 1990-2002, Monument Protection Programme. Archaeological Item Dataset., MPP 157223
MPP 157223 (Report - Survey). SDV277946.
Site visited 0n 9th May 2002. Reservoir 540 metres south of Eylesbarrow, forming part of Eylesbarrow Tin Mine. A concave dam with a large central breach. The dam is up to 7.8 metres wide and 0.8 metres high and is covered in heather and grass, whilst the reservoir is grass and heather covered. Both the dam and reservoir have been cut into by prospecting pits. This reservoir probably served the streamwork to the south.
