(09/02/1978) On a south-west facing slope at approximately 437.0m above sea level is a levelled hut circle in poor condition and of type 2. It is visible on (a) and has an internal diameter of 5.5m with walling 1.8m thick and 0.3m high and a south-eastern entrance. The interior has been disturbed by modern digging.
Surveyed at 1:2500 on AM.

(06/01/1992) SX 66398497. A disturbed sub-circular feature on the SW flank of Thornworthy Down 150m SSW of Thornworthy Tor.
A stoney bank, 2.3m wide and up to 0.7m high, encloses an area 5.2m in diameter largely filled by a central hollow 0.65m deep. The bank is breeched on the S margin.
It seems likely that this feature represents a very disturbed hut circle, the material produced by the deep excavation of the interior being deposited on the walls.
