ACE Archaeology photo shows a feature with diameter of approximately 1.5 metres, in the form of two concentric rings around a circle. Possibly a representation of the Royal Air Force roundel. The feature abuts a further area of mosaic, most of which is not shown on the photo.
This feature may represent a squadron badge or station crest.
