Full description
Allan, J., 2001, An Angel from Pinhoe and other Medieval English Alabasters in Devon, 168 (Article in Serial). SDV338906.
A small fragment of 15th century Nottingham alabaster was found in 1884 during the rebuilding of the south wall of the nave at St Mary's church in Cheriton Bishop. The fragment depicts Christ carrying the cross with two other characters behind with traces of gilding.
