Summary

Two sherds of medieval pottery were recovered from the grounds of 'court barton'. The lawn to the south of the farmhouse & to the north of an old track had been truncated to allow a garge to be built. The section exposed in 2004 revealed three or four c5-8cms thick stone slabs c0.6m below ground level which were forming a surface. The medieval pot sherds were found in this exposed section (bridgewater).
