Full description
Minchinton, W. E., 1973, Industrial Archaeology in Devon, 12 (Monograph). SDV7016.
Salcombe Harbour; during the 19th century shipyards along the Salcombe waterfront built schooners. The Salcombe Hotel was built on the site of one such yard. Most of the other yards are now quays and small boat yards.
